Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 1/4 All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Small Box Vanilla Pudding
2 Softened Sticks of Butter
3/4 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Brown Sugar PAcked
1 Tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
Bag of Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Combine Flour, Salt , Baking Soda and Pudding in Medium bowl.
In large Bowl combine Butter, sugars and one egg at a time . Combine with hand mixer. Add Vanilla.
Add dry ingredients in 3 parts with mixer.
Combine until smooth.
Add Chocolate Chips.
Bake on stone at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cook on rack.
Canned Biscuit Donuts
Ingredients:
Oil for frying
Deep fryer or heavy pot
2 Cans of Buttermilk Buscuits
Directions:
Lay out buscuits.
Cut a hole in the middle of each with a small 1 1/2 inch round cookie cutter or glass.
Save the donut holes and cook them too!
Fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
Frosting:
2c. Confection Sugar
5 Tbs, milk, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. cocoa powder
Sprinkles
I dredge the holes in powdered sugar. Yummy!
Holiday Candied Nut Mix
Ingredients:
1 Lb. Nuts (Almonds & Pecans)
1 C. Sugar
2 Tbs. Groung Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
6 Tbs. Milk
1/4 Tsp. Salt
Cinnamon Sugar ( Sprinkle when Done)
Roast nuts on baking sheet for 8-10 minutes or until you can smell the roasting smell.
Put on large baking sheet covered with wax paper.
In saucepan melt sugar, salt and cinnamon stirring constantly to a rolling boil (236 F Degrees)
Add Vanilla.
Stirring again.
Pour over nuts spreading them apart with a fork.
Sprinkle with some cinnamon sugar to finish.
Let Cool.
